What is an affiliate?

In short, if you send someone to Gizmograbber online, and that person makes an order, you get paid 6% commission on that sale.

How does it work? How do you track sales?

Using a Cookies system in our online shop, we can detect where a customer was referred from.

We give you special code to use in web links so that when people are referred by you, we can automatically connect the order to your affiliate ID and automatically pay you commission. The first time a new user visits our site, the user is given a unique identifying cookie.

If their first visit is tracked as being referred by your affiliate ID, this customer will be automatically identified as “your customer? for 30 days. Even when they leave and come back later, we will still know to credit you for referring this customer.
　

Is it limited to some countries?

As long as you can accept payments through PayPal, you can send customers from all over the world.

Do I need to have a website to be an affiliate?

No, anyone can be an affiliate. You just need to be creative and find places to put your unique Gizmograbber link, such as in emails to your customers, articles, online classifieds, or forum postings.

　

How much can I earn?

You earn 6% of the total product order value (not including the shipping costs). For example, if a customer sent by you makes an order for $500, you will automatically receive $30.

You can be a Gizmograbber affiliate for ever, and there is no limit to the amount of money you can make from commissions. Since Gizmograbber is a wholesale electronics shop, most of the orders are in the hundreds of dollars. Customers referred by you will be tracked as “your? customers for 30 days, so you have a good chance of receiving repeat commissions on second or even third orders, which are typically for higher total amounts.

Gizmograbber cannot guarantee any particular levels of earning. What you earn depends entirely on how many customers you send us and how much they spend.

　

How do you track sales?

Affiliate sales commissions are paid monthly through Paypal, one month (30 days) after the online order is dispatched, and paid out only when your affiliate balance is $50.00 or more. (e.g. if you have $51 in commissions you will be paid the full $51 through Paypal on the monthly payout day, but if you only have $49 you will have to wait until you go over $50 before you get paid anything at all.)

You will get paid 1% of any order total on any sales that they refer. They will be identified as YOUR referred Affiliate FOR EVER, so WHENEVER they get referred sales commission, so do YOU! The whole system is automated and uses the same login, links, and cookies as your normal affiliate account. You can just sit back and let the money roll in!

Can I get commission from referring customers through other means, not by web linking?

No, you can only earn affiliate commission using your unique affiliate link code. Any other sales you refer (e.g. phone orders, offline recommendations) cannot and will not be credited for affiliate commissions.
